Whoa! Wow! All of this for a nobody? I have read a lot of different stories about Montaous. Most of them he wrote himself lol...but yea, the kid is lying.

I was contacted by Montaous Walton to represent him as an agent.  The first thing he wanted was for me to pay his phone bill.  Then he asked me for cash advances.  He told me he signed a contract with the Blue Jays and then his story fell apart after I questioned him on the details.  I am an attorney and before our phone conversation was over, I knew he was an imposter.  Do not fall for any of it.  He should be prosecuted soon.

Are you guys blind or not watching baseball at all? This guy is clearly fluke! Have you read ALL of the articles on this guy. He has made everything up. I have a good friend that is a reporter and he told me everything about this guy. He is such a character. He never played for any of the college. He played baseball at Madison high school with one of my friends and my friend said he was decent, not a superstar. I also heard from another guy name Montez that he tried to play for a community college out in Chicago, IL and he couldn't make that team. Don't be fooled guys. Read what the Courier put up and the law suite that the Seven Bridges Group and the MLB has against him. This guy isn't going to the majors, he's going to jail!

both you guys are nuts, from reading up on this guy, he seem to be possibly sitting out this season due to his grades if im not mistaken. although he did have a stellar year in 06 and an okay year in 07, im sure he can possibly be signed by someone. there are many scouting combines, baseball academy;s and major league baseball scouting bureaus that players attend. im sure he will be fine if he works out for people over the summer, but even if he does'nt get signed, he can always return to school in top notch shape and possibly dominate next season, to improve his stock value and put his name out there a little more.

there is nothing wrong with being an undrafted free agent all it means is that you have to work hard in minor league camp. there are many undrafted free agents on today's major league roster. i do agree on one thing, if he wants to be picked in the top 15 or 20 that last year of eligibility will do him good. otherwise if he feels he, scouts or clubs think he is ready then i would say go for it, because 90 some odd percent of major league players were signed as undrafted free agents.

the draft is looking good this year, and from reading about montaous he has another year of college eligibility left in 2009, my opinion, is that he should play and be productive that last year and raise his draft stock up a little higher and maybe...just maybe..he may be a top outfielder. if he can steal 22 bases im sure he can go for 30 or more. however if he decides to test the draft this year he may be a possible sandwich pick in the draft or even an undrafted free agent.

dang he must be a hell of a player,  and he must be underrated, but you got to understand, most players that are underrated at the highschool or college level, normally surprise alot of scouts and teams. from reading all of this about this young man he could be possibly a sleeper in the draft this year or next or even a good signed undrafted free agent if someone signs him after not getting picked. i know if i was a scout or team i would definitely not pass the talent up, this youn man has.

man he runs like that in the 60 -yard dash? thats cool, never really saw him, but i heard alot about him and from what i hear he's sort of compared to former major leaguer Bip Roberts speed wise. bip roberts was a very quick player from the 80's i remember him from when he played with the padres.

anyhow bip roberts had great running speed, stealing ability and also baserunning instincts and only stood 5-foot-7 or 8 and again hell of quick
to me thats a good compliment for this young underrated prospect.

yes i remember watching my nephew game and i remember seeing this kid play two summers ago, he transferred to UW-Whitewater? i was wondering what school he went to, he has amazing speed in the outfield and on the basepaths
from watching him play i can see that he has the wheels to stretch singles into doubles and doubles into triples. i have to agree he is underrated but as a witness he has alot of potential and talent.

i read a recent article on this talented speedy outfielder from Wisconsin by the name of Montaous Walton, he has good speed obviously and average bat speed, from what i understand the kid has major stolen base instincts racking up 22 stolen bases in 06 which appears to be a season high for him...dont be surprised when he ends up leading whatever conference he plays in in stolen bases.

from the article it says he attends UW-whitewater after transferring from Division 1 Eastern Michigan university.
